The Colonel Gregory Gadson Office of Military and Veterans Excellence (OMVAE)  is dedicated to providing high-quality and comprehensive student veteran support in an environment that fosters respect, commitment, and academic excellence. Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) is dedicated to providing counseling and psychological assistance to WSU students. CAPS can be reached via phone by calling 313-577-3398, or through its website caps.wayne.edu.

Students may experience considerable stress from academic work, relationships or other aspects of life while on campus. If you have a concern about a student, please contact the Dean of Students Office (DOSO) at 313-577-1010 or submit a Student Care Report.

Office of Equal Opportunity is available for individuals who have a complaint involving unlawful discrimination or harassment. Please contact the office via phone at 313-577-2280.

Office of Internal Audit offers an anonymous hotline at 313-577-5138, or an anonymous tip online form to confidentially report an incident or share concerns.

Office of Multicultural Student Engagement (OMSE) is located on the 7th floor of the Student Center Building. The office is open Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. OMSE representatives can be reached via phone at 313-577-2312, or email OMSE@wayne.edu. Office of Sexual Violence Prevention and Education offers services to the WSU community through advocacy, crisis intervention, education, and peer support.  All services are confidential. To schedule an appointment and learn more about the services provided, please contact the office by phone at 313-577-2990, or email OSVPE@wayne.edu

Ombuds Services is part of the Dean of Students Office of Care, Support, and Intervention Services. Students are encouraged to connect with Ombuds Services with questions about university policies and procedures or if they need to issue a complaint of dissatisfaction with a person, service or process.  To learn more about support offered by Ombuds Services, visit wayne.edu/ombuds.

Title IX concerns and complaints (e.g., any form of sexual assault, intimate partner violence, stalking or retaliation for filing such a complaint) should be directed to the university's Title IX Director at 313-577-9999 or titleix@wayne.edu.
